System Administrator

The Network Administrator is responsible for bringing Information Technology service availability and application delivery in line with business requirements. Performs system administration including: network management, asset management, task/project management, help desk, and documentation. Analyzes, recommends, and evaluates new hardware, software, and communications products for network compatibility and applicability. Configures, maintains and manages network security features. Configures, monitors, and maintains antivirus programs to insure network and systems integrity. Troubleshoots and maintains technology resources, including employee workstations, networking equipment, telecommunications devices and infrastructure, and IT services such as email, security, and remote access.
