Ryan Bennett

Mr. Bennett is responsible for structured finance activities at EPS, including corporate and project financings, commercial product design and deal structuring. For three years prior to EPS, Mr. Bennett was a partner at Greenrock Capital, a private equity firm focused on investments in renewable energy projects and development companies. Through a partnership with Morgan Stanley’s structured products desk, Mr. Bennett closed over $350M of tax-equity financings in the solar and geothermal sectors. Mr. Bennett worked at the Rocky Mountain Institute and later GE Wind Energy, where he was central to opening GE’s Canadian market presence. He led wind turbine supply deals of over 200MW in Alberta and Ontario, as well as the 2004 1,000 MW Hydro Quebec supply contract, which was the largest global wind turbine supply commitment at that point. Mr. Bennett later served as GE Wind’s pricing director for North America, South America and Asia. Prior to focusing on the renewable power markets, Mr. Bennett was a geologist, holding positions both in environmental geology in California and gold and silver ore exploration in Chile. Mr. Bennett holds a BA in geology from Colorado college and earned an MBA and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University.
