As the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of EPS Corp, Mr. Akerstrom is responsible the company’s overall operations and energy project divisions of the company. He has over fifteen years of experience in the energy field encompassing both clean generation and energy efficiency projects. He has developed multiple onsite cogeneration projects of various technologies nationally, including IC engines, gas turbines, and photovoltaic systems for HVAC, refrigeration, steam and hot water applications for all types of end use facilities.

Mr. Akerstrom holds the following technical certifications: California Licensed Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, and Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional. He is a member of both ASHRAE and the Association of Energy Engineers.
