The EPS Approach to Energy Intelligence

Rising energy costs, regulatory pressures and sustainability goals are stressful points for corporate and energy managers. Yet business-as-usual approaches to energy management can’t fulfill on rising expectations for sustainability or long-term savings.

Typical industrial processes don’t have clearly defined energy codes and standards, resulting in irregular implementations with eroding efficiencies over time. Most of these non-standards-based approaches to energy management don’t produce verifiable results, nor do they clear the return on investment hurdles that the carbon economy demands.

To address this shortcoming, we created a best practices approach to realizing persistent energy savings, while maximizing the return on investment for energy and emissions reductions. The EPS Way™ provides tools, knowledge and processes to implement and maintain measureable, sustained results in energy and environmental efficiency.

The EPS Way™ process consists of the following three steps:

Control your energy consumption and CO2 emissions

We monitor and control key components of your plant systems to reduce energy use and emissions relative to baselines created from near-real-time data.

Replace inefficient assets

We repair or replace the inefficient system components causing the largest impact on energy consumption and CO2 emissions. In the process, we provide measurable and sustainable benefits that you can easily track to established baseline measurements.

Shift to alternate energy sources

We shift you to clean and renewable energy sources when it makes sense. EPS provides the comparative data you need to make an informed decision from your global viewpoint of energy use, emissions reduction, and financial performance. We will either own and operate, or install and manage these solutions for you, and track to baselines to ensure the best performance results.
