“Energy Intelligence” Identified as Emerging Best Practice in the Manufacturing Sector

Results of new Aberdeen report and case studies to be featured in upcoming webinar

Costa Mesa, CA – January 29, 2010 – The Aberdeen Group recently released a report that identifies Energy Intelligence, the central element of EPS Corp’s energy and carbon reduction solutions, as an emerging best practice approach among leading companies in the industrial manufacturing sector.

Based on research conducted with over 240 manufacturers in 2009, this report, entitled “Energy Intelligence:  Creating Data Driven Efficiency”, identifies Energy Intelligence as a leading edge method used by companies that are most successful at managing their energy usage.  The Best-in-Class companies in this study achieved a 15% reduction in their energy use, which is more than double the industry average, and realized substantially higher operating margins as well.

The Aberdeen Group analysts and authors of the report, Matthew Littlefield and Mehul Shah, will present key findings and recommendations from their research in an exclusive webinar for industrial manufacturing companies, hosted by EPS Corp.  This webinar will also feature Staffan Akerstrom, COO of EPS Corp, who will present case examples of several leading dairy and food companies that have successfully deployed this energy management approach in their operations.

This webinar took place on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 2:00pm EST and is now archived.
